Step 2 Turn your laptop over and locate the battery compartment. Release the lock/latch and slide out the old battery. Refer to your owner's manual if necessary.
Step 3 Install the new battery by first aligning its receptor pins with the pins in the battery compartment. Push down on the opposite end to snap the battery in place.
